About Me

I am a Forensic Science Expert with an experience of over 15 years, specializing in various fields of Forensic Science. During the course of my career, I have rendered my professional expertise to a wide array of clients, encompassing government entities, corporate organizations, insurance firms, police departments, and legal professionals. My educational background includes a B.Sc. in Biochemistry with Food Nutrition & Food Adulteration from the University of Mumbai, as well as a M.Sc. in Forensic Science from the University of Teesside in the UK. 

In addition to my degrees, I have also pursued various certificate courses to enhance my professional skills, including a Professional Diploma in Multimedia specializing in advertising, digital filmmaking, and VFX from Arena Multimedia in Mumbai, Email Computer Forensics Fundamentals, Forensic Accounting & Fraud Investigation, OSINT Fundamentals - Financial Crimes and Fraud Investigations, Training programs on Forensic Documents Examination and DNA Analysis from the esteemed Gujarat Forensic Science Laboratory in Gandhinagar (now NIFSU), a Training Certificate course on PCR conducted by Eppendorf at NCL Innovation Centre in Pune, and a Training Certificate course on X-Ray Diffractometer conducted by Shimadzu Analytical Pvt. Ltd. at the CSC in Mumbai. 

Current Profile

I serve as a Forensic Science Expert and a Certified Document and Fingerprint Expert, specializing in Handwriting and Signature Analysis. With over 15 years of experience in forensic science, I have established myself as proficient in this field, operating independently for the past seven years. Additionally, I am affiliated with leading forensic service companies as a Forensic Associate and Senior Forensic Trainer. In this capacity, I contribute my extensive expertise to various forensic investigations and provide training to aspiring professionals. Furthermore, I have expanded my reach into the education and entertainment industries by collaborating with film schools. I conduct workshops aimed at accurately portraying forensic and behavioral science in films, thus bridging the gap between entertainment and reality.

I am committed to upholding the highest standards of forensic practice, making positive contributions to both the legal and educational sectors.

Apart from following my passion for Forensic Science, I am also proprietor of a production house CROPCIRCLES FILMS, which is a 360 degree brand building and content creating studio for ad films, short and full length films. 

My Experience

I have made significant contributions in the field, including the establishment of the Forensic Science laboratory and Library at the Institute of Forensic Science in Mumbai. The University of Mumbai appointed me as an ad-hoc committee member to develop syllabi for BSc, MSc, and PG Diploma courses, and I was also selected for the technical committee responsible for the procurement of advanced forensic instruments at the Institute of Forensic Science in Mumbai. My areas of specialization encompass Questioned Documents Examination, Fingerprint Examination, Crime Scene/Fire Scene Examination, Criminal Profiling, and various other aspects of forensic science. I have handled numerous cases, including high-profile ones involving Questioned Document Examination, Handwriting and Signature Verification, Fingerprint Services, Fire Scene & Crime Scene Investigations, catering to both government and private sectors. Notably, I played a pivotal role in the scientific reconstruction of findings related to the suicide case of a Bollywood actress. I have served as an Expert Witness in court, providing testimony and undergoing cross-examinations on multiple occasions. Additionally, I have offered my consultancy services to advocates, assisting them in effectively questioning and challenging the opinions of other Forensic Experts. Alongside my collaborations with law enforcement agencies like the Crime Branch and the Economic Offences Wing in Mumbai, I have also delivered forensic services to insurance companies and banks, specifically in cases involving fraud. As an experienced trainer, I have conducted numerous workshops and seminars catering to diverse audiences, including students, judicial institutions, the corporate sector, BAR Councils, insurance companies, and even the High Court.
